Dr Riley Thompson

Riley served as the Aurora’s primary medical officer, and quickly became a stabilizing emotional force during the earliest months post-revival. With Earth-standard medical training, Riley was well-versed in both trauma and surgical care, but his true skill has been adapting to alien and ultra-futuristic technologies found aboard the ruins of the Aurion station.
He has become the bridge between the past and future of medicine. His early efforts to treat injuries with unfamiliar technology demonstrated brilliance and caution in equal measure. Despite the 1,400-year technological gap, he has thrown himself into catching up—pouring over medical archives, conducting experiments, and even undergoing neural augmentation himself to stay relevant and capable.
While technically not a bioengineer, his cross-training, collaboration with Bet, and openness to advanced tech have allowed him to become one of the foremost experts on the hybridization of human and alien medical protocols aboard the Aurora.
